In the end, it all boils down to the “it”. What’s “it”?
Hmm, You listen to Justice? A lot of people do. I lot of people like Justice; there’s a reason. When you listen to a lot of other Electro Pop groups, their music sounds like for aerobics class or morning jogs. It’s such a boring formula: starts with a medium pace beat, crescendo, fast pace beat, super crescendo, and “big” finish. I like Justice because they throw in some awesome little things into the songs. They sound random but not out of place. These elements add not to the overall sound but to the personality of the song. Justice started off with so-so remixes but there was something about their tracks. They’ve gotten so much better. I get the same feeling from your work…
You can think what you want of [your photos] but anything you create should be given some respect. Who cares if it’s just a doodle or scribble. Great work that done come when I don’t try so hard. I just play it like a song and see where it goes. My sketchbooks look FAR better than my final work. The biggest lesson I’ve learned so far is that anything can happen. That thought alone scares people but to me it keeps me excited. I hate to live a safe, predictable life. Things will always change and to me that’s comforting. You’re young so you need to get your hands dirty in a lot of new things (sometimes literally). You’re free from the retarded years of high school. Your life as a real adult starts now. I can’t wait to see what else you have to show me!
